When CHEMOFAST landed on my desk, brand development and online retailing via Amazon Marketplace had already been expanded. The next step was to create a website that had to cover different areas.
The first challenges were different personas from very different customer groups. From professional tradesmen to private individuals, everyone was represented. CHEMOFAST's core products are, by their own admission, considered to be worthy of explanation in their application. Thus, various entry points were created to make this information as accessible as possible. From well-structured product pages to various guides and a product advisor.
My tasks consisted of extracting the technical requirements from the customer's requirements, abstracting data models from them and supporting CHEMOFAST IT in creating a connection between the website and merchandise management (Microsoft Dynamics). This served as preparation for the planned expansion of the website to enable customers to order products online and have them delivered or picked up as desired. The implementation of the last step took place after my departure.
