The challenges in this project were the different international target groups that had to be addressed on one platform. Starting with customers from all over the world, partners from different countries, applicants of every career level as well as investors.
Through this project I learned to love the flexibility of Pimcore. Those who know me know that I have very high standards for the quality of my work. Pimcore as a technology has made it possible to meet that. More about this in the blog.
One of the many challenges was to put the action information on the website. This was provided by a service provider. To do this, a comparison had to be made at different intervals as to which publications had already been imported into Pimcore and which had not. Pimcore's Master Data Management (MDM) was absolutely the right choice here.
In a constantly evolving industry, it takes the right people to drive the business forward. All the more important was the applicant portal, which takes data and forwards it to a specialized system for the application process.
Of course, Pimcore's Product Information Management (PIM) could not be missing either. At the customer's request, the PIM was built in such a way that it could be optimally integrated into AIXTRON's domain. As a result, the products could be optimally published at all points and linked to other data sets.
