This project was one of the last projects I was responsible for at anyMOTION GRAPHICS GmbH in Düsseldorf. It went online after I left.
The challenges we had to overcome here were mostly known, it was not the first project with Pfalzwerke AG. Even though the cooperation has always been a great pleasure, in connection with corporations there are a lot of places that have to be taken into account.
Another service provider for designs was involved as usual and the Pfalzwerke AG IT department was a new addition, because the Pimcore was to be connected to the SAP. Of course, I won't go into details here, but it was a masterstroke to make the corresponding development environment at our company talk to the necessary SAP instances as well as the live instances that were operated afterwards. Here I was able to draw on my knowledge from the last 15 years of IT infrastructure to make this possible and to get all the necessary parties around one table.
All in all, a very exciting project where I was once again pleased with the flexibility and possibilities that Pimcore offers.
